Located in front of the railway station, next to the bus terminal and less than 500 meters walk from downtown, it has always been a favourite destination for travelers from all over the world, who visit our city every year, not only since has it formerly been a well-known a Roman town located in the centre of Piedmont, but also because it mantains unique and original traditions such as the “ Palio di Asti” whose roots date back to 1275a. c.

Reviews

Superb!

The Hotel is conveniently located very near to the city centre and you can get a free private parking spot. Hospitality, friendliness, professional attitude, rooms and tidiness where TOP level!

We had been particularly impressed by the landlady – always charming and accommodating – showing  what it means to be truely passioned about one’s job. She really knows how to take care of her guests. Excellent team!

Great Hotel

“Cozy, very welcoming and clean Hotel. Family managed, offers unpretentious yet clean and hospitable rooms along with the yummy breakfast consisting in fresh products, homemade cakes, seasonal fruit and other salty single-dose packaged products in compliance with the anti-Covid rules. Recommended!”

Family run Hotel

I have just spent a night at the Cavour Hotel in Asti, as I had been invited to a friend’s graduation party.

I turned out to be definitively pleasant, since the Hotel is very cozy and clean, let alone the fact that it is just in front of the railway and bus stations

Also it was great to be able to reach the downtown area in less than 10 minutes walk. I’ve been given a single room which was extremely clean and silent and the bed was way bigger than I expected!

Breakfast was just fine with both homemade and packaged high quality products. (They make their own beverages, that’s why there aren’t no machines around.)

As I previously mentioned we are talking about a family run Hotel with everyone from the staff always at your disposal.”

Events

The city of Asti offers a large amount of touristic sites and attractions.

We are talking about monuments and cultural events, along with walks in hilly-areas to discover the rows of great Piedmontese wines. ( Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Nizza and Barbera).

Country festivals

Nothing like wine culture identifies Asti and its surroundings in the world. In order to pay a tribute in it’s hometown to this universal ambassador, since 36 years, every second Sunday of September, we celebrate “ Sotto il segno della Douja d’Or”, the Festival that reunites all the “ Sagre” an impressive day of celebration…

The Palio

In 1967 there has been a re-edition of the Palio, as  it represents the unique and gloriuous historic past of the city of Asti. This Palio, that dates back to 1275 a.c., is in fact one of the most ancient in the world. Hotel Cavour is located in the Rione San Paolo, and is represented…
